Brack Mount by Michael Shapland

Michael discusses mounds and mounts in Lewes

Michael moved to Lewes from Reading eight years ago, and now works for UCL’s field archaeology unit, Archaeology South-East, based in Brighton. His role principally involves the excavation, recording and interpretation of all types of historic buildings across the south-east of England, from abbeys and parish churches to factories and timber-framed buildings. He is presently involved with a project hoping to establish the date and origins of Brack Mount, and make it available for public and community use.
